About Snowstorm

Snowstorm is a decentralized microproxy network. Snowstorm exists so people can keep each other safe online. Turning on Snowstorm provides an anonymous node other users can relay through to access the internet, shielding their connection and location from bad actors.

Snowstorm can also safeguard your connection. When accessing the internet over Snowstorm, your traffic is anonymized, from entry to exit. Unlike legacy VPNs, as a peer-to-peer relay network, Snowstorm cannot log your data.

True security is accessible. Snowstorm is designed to make sense. Snowstorm runs quick, using minimal bandwidth and system resources. Support for everyday internet use is a design goal, including streaming, work, and gaming.

Snowstorm is coded by the hackers who created the Snowflake pluggable transport, used in crisis zones to keep connections uncensored. We think everyone, everywhere, has the right to connect.
